Henriot L’inattendue

“Henriot L’inattendue (‘𝑢𝑛𝑒𝑥𝑝𝑒𝑐𝑡𝑒𝑑’) is the finest tribute we can pay to our founder, Apolline Henriot, and her desire to cultivate the diversity of her terroirs, originally located on three crus. Over the centuries, each generation of my family has perpetuated this diversity by adding new crus to the House’s vineyards, synonymous with new personalities. For the first time in its history, Maison Henriot is capturing in a bottle a wine from a singular terroir: the Grand Cru of Avize in 2016. It is with great emotion that I share this unique creation.”

She had a deep love for the Champagne region, the beauty of its vines and its landscapes. While Apolline wanted to express her whole vineyard with Henriot Brut Souverain, through the blend of several crus and years, she also wanted to pay tribute to nature through a vintage Champagne, Henriot Millésime, which is the interpretation of a singular year by the House. Eight generations of the family have perpetuated Apolline’s desire and savoir-faire. Today, the House is delighted to unveil its new creation: Henriot Millésime 2012.

Henriot Mémoires

Eight generations of the Henriot family have contributed to create the Maison Henriot’s Mémoires collection by carefully cellaring the bottles. A century after crafting of the first vintage of this collection, the Millésime 1921, Gilles de Larouzière Henriot had the desire to share with the world this legacy and his family’s savoir-faire, which represents a piece of the history of Champagne.
“The Henriot Mémoires Collection embodies specific years, through the Cuvées des Enchanteleurs, a blend of the House’s six founding crus, and the Millésimes, expression of the singular caracter of one year. The vintages we chose to release are guided by the tasting and the emotion that it brings”.

Introducing Cuvée Hemera 2006

Champagne Henriot is very proud to release the new Cuvée Hemera 2006.
For several years, Maison Henriot has been working on finding a perfect balance between freshness and character. The Cuvée Hemera, named after the Greek Goddess of Daylight, is one of the finest expressions of this quest.
In ancient Greek times, Hemera would unveil night to reveal the day’s first rays of light.
It embodies the quintessence of Henriot style and symbolises the passage from the darkness of the cellars, where time weaves its magic, to the radiant brightness of the tasting.
