At the origin of the Fleurie appellation
The Estate dates back to Roman times when Maître Fleurus, according to tradition, gave his name to the village of Fleurie. Fleurie is today the eighth Cru of Beaujolais.
Beyond the legend, and a thousand years later, it is the rare and exceptional quality of the terroir as well as the legacy that led the Henriot family to acquire Château de Poncié in 2008.

A rare collection of parcels in Beaujolais
Around the Château, the vineyard extends into a vast collection of woods and fields, which form a landscape with a rare and extensive biodiversity.
In 2008, the Henriot family decided to revive and restore this estate, which encompasses a very rich variety of terroir elements, making it a collection of parcels of rare quality in the Beaujolais.
